Cycling for good

Ever wondered if you could cycle the equivalent height of Mt Everest? No, we hadn’t either – until Ricardo decided to make it happen!

In a true embodiment of his for-purpose values, Ricardo spent his 32nd birthday cycling 118 times up and down the Taronga Zoo hill, raising funds to help families in Brazil to deal with the impacts of COVID 19.

As part of an ‘Everesting’ challenge, he climbed over 9000 metres elevation, in just 17 hours (353km in total). Well done to Ricardo, who raised over $4000 for the kids, and also proved he is an amazing athlete!
