National minimum and Award wages to increase by 4.75% from 1 July

Minimum wages will increase from the first full pay period starting on or after 1 July 2026, following the Fair Work Commission’s Annual Wage Review.

• The National Minimum Wage will increase to $1,004.90 per week, or $26.44 per hour
• Award wages will also increase by 4.75%. This includes the Awards common across our client base –namely SCHADS and the Children’s Services Award. 

Where Purpose manages payroll for clients, we’ll apply the relevant changes via Xero / payroll systems to ensure your staff have a seamless transition to the new rates.
