On 1 July, the portable long service leave (LSL) scheme will commence for community services workers in NSW. This will be mandatory for all NSW community service organisations meeting the eligibility criteria.
The Long Service Corporation (LSC) is responsible for administrating the scheme. More details about the scheme, and eligibility criteria, can be found on the LSC website. We encourage NSW clients to review this information as a priority, to assess whether your organisation is likely to be eligible. Each organisation needs to self-assess, based on a number of specific factors.
