Covid 19 update – Purpose to continue client service via remote working model

Following the escalation of the Covid 19 situation, Purpose has made the decision to move to a remote working model, commencing today. This means that for the next few weeks at least, our regular client site visits and other scheduled appointments will be offered in an online or phone format, rather than in person. All services will continue to be delivered as usual, just through alternative formats.

In the last few days we have seen significant extra measures being announced by the Government, to slow the spread of the virus and ease the burden on our health care services.

While the Government has not yet made recommendations regarding business closures, given who we are as a company and our focus on social welfare and supporting those most vulnerable in our communities, we believe it is now time to do our part in ‘flattening the curve’,

As you can appreciate, it is very hard to put solid timeframes on things given the highly dynamic nature of the Covid 19 situation. We anticipate that remote working will need to be in place for the next 2-3 weeks at least. We will review the situation regularly during this time to make further decisions about the future, as more facts come to light.

These are challenging times but we are lucky that our working style is flexible, and for many years we’ve conducted much of our client work remotely. As such, we’re confident we can easily make this transition and maintain a high-quality service for our clients.

We hope to return to our usual working arrangements as early as possible but in the meantime thank you for your co-operation and please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
