Anna is a non-profit financial management expert, with over 20 years’ experience helping organisations transform their Finance functions to enable efficiency, growth and social impact.
Anna is a CPA and CGMA-qualified financial expert, with more than two decades' experience in accounting and financial management. Much of this time has been spent in consulting and financial leadership roles in the NFP sector, in both Australia and the UK. She has worked across a large range of organisations in both the corporate and non-profit sectors, from ASX listed companies and global NGOs, to community centres.
Anna is passionate about transforming the Finance functions of clients she works with, to enable organisational efficiency, growth and social impact. She has a deep connection to the sector, and believes that empowering our clients to achieve their mission leads to a more just and inclusive society.
With a background in management accounting, Anna’s strength is distilling and conveying meaning from the numbers, to enable effective decision making. She is adept at advising Boards and senior executives, and communicating complex concepts to both financial, and non-financial, stakeholders. With a strategic mindset, Anna specialises in the design of innovative financial systems and structures, to achieve quality management information.
As Associate Director, Anna’s leads the internal excellence function within Purpose, shaping the direction of professional development activity. She champions a strengths-based approach to client service delivery, ensuring the optimum mix of individual – and collective – talent is brought forward to serve clients. Alongside her co-Directors, Anna is proud to lead a team of exceptional practitioners to achieve consistent, high-quality outputs.
