Mariana is a Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years senior accounting and audit experience, specialising in the non-profit sector. She is motivated by helping purpose-driven organisations strengthen their financial management, support informed decisions and achieve greater social impact.
Prior to joining Purpose, Mariana's experience includes working with NFPs in the community services and health sub-sectors. Her technical expertise spans Australian Accounting Standards, financial reporting, internal controls and governance, with a particular strength in translating complex requirements into clear, practical advice.
She has led teams of accounting professionals, coaching colleagues and coordinating specialist input to deliver high-quality work within demanding deadlines.
Mariana has strong accounting practice experience, managing multiple-client portfolios and building trusted relationships with CFOs, Financial Controllers, senior NFP executives and Audit Committees.
