Some of these changes started this month, while others will commence next year. Amongst the changes are new restrictions regulating the use of fixed term contracts (these are expected to commence in late 2023).
There is an intersection here with these changes and financial risk management, so we are monitoring the details closely. The non-profit sector will need time to digest these changes and we are aware that some organisations are already seeking advice. We would encourage clients to reach out to your HR advisor, or employer association, to better understand the changes ahead.
